Privacy Policy

FocusFeed is built to avoid collecting personal data.

Last updated: May 22, 2026

Overview

FocusFeed for YouTube is a Safari extension that changes the appearance of YouTube pages in Safari by hiding distracting interface elements. The app does not require a FocusFeed account and does not operate a server for user data.

Data collection

FocusFeed does not collect, sell, or share personal data. The app does not collect browsing history, YouTube account information, search history, watch history, analytics events, or advertising identifiers.

Local settings

FocusFeed stores app preferences locally on your device, such as whether the extension is enabled and which focus controls are active. These settings are used only to make the extension work.

Safari extension access

Safari may ask you to grant FocusFeed access to youtube.com so the extension can hide page elements. This access is used to modify the YouTube page in Safari. FocusFeed does not send page content to a FocusFeed server.

Purchases

If you buy FocusFeed Pro, the purchase is handled by Apple through the App Store. FocusFeed can read purchase status from Apple so it knows whether Pro features are unlocked.
